Who We Are

We are professional home organizers who free up your physical space so you have more mental space - because we believe life should be about finding your passions, not looking for your car keys.

If you’re here, then congratulations on taking your first step toward a more peaceful home! We're here to hold your hand and support you every step of the way as we help you create your ideal space, building a foundation that enables you to live your very best life.

Our objective is to work with you to help you gain back your space (not to mention your sanity and even some lost time!), by sorting and purging, finding a home, containing your items, and teaching you to maintain your newly organized space. We will strategize with you, support you, and guide you in creating a calming space that really functions best for you and your family.

Meet the Clean Slate Crew

Alison | Owner

Hi, I’m Alison. When I’m not organizing someone’s closet or transforming a cluttered room, you can usually find me out on a trail walk, soaking in the quiet beauty of my rural town. Nature is my favorite reset button. I’m also a big reader—nothing beats getting lost in a good book, preferably with a cozy blanket and a cup of tea nearby.

I’m a mom to four amazing college-aged kids (yes, the laundry situation used to be legendary), and I genuinely love spending time with my family—whether it’s a group text full of chaos or a weekend all together at home. Life has taught me that simple joys matter most, and that’s something I try to carry into everything I do.

That’s also what led me to organizing. I know firsthand how overwhelming life—and all the stuff that comes with it—can be. Helping others create calm, functional spaces that actually support their day-to-day life feels like a natural extension of what I value most: clarity, comfort, and making room for what really matters.

Kristen | Owner

Hi, I’m Kristen! Raised by a dad who made sure I could change my own oil, drive a stick shift, and handle power tools with confidence, I’ve always been a bit of a DIY-er. Over time, that love for doing things my way turned into a deep passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces that make real life feel easier, calmer, and more joyful.

I have five amazing daughters, which means I know firsthand how quickly life—and clutter—can pile up. I also know how transformative it feels to finally have a home that works for you. A place where everything has a spot, the systems make sense, and your environment actually supports the life you want to live.

When I’m not organizing, you’ll find me adventuring, riding my Triumph T120 (my happy place), reading anything from Jane Austen to David Mitchell, baking a loaf of sourdough from scratch, or cuddling under a cozy blanket for family movie night.

I live for the big reveal—the moment everything clicks into place. Helping people feel at home in their own homes? That’s the good stuff. That’s what I’m here for.

Our Signature Process

  • Meeting with Clean Slate to understand your goals is the first step.

    Step 1

We start out by meeting with you for a virtual complimentary consultation, to understand your space, your vision, and your goals for refining and refreshing your space.

  • You'll receive an estimate for the sessions required to finish your project.

    Step 2

After the initial consult, we will provide a quote which includes an estimate of how many sessions will be required to finish your project.

A deposit is due to book your session and start your project, which will be applied to your final invoice.

  • We'll remove all items, sort, categorize, and measure for containers, all the while helping you decide what to keep, donate or discard

    Step 3

At your first session, you can expect us to confirm your goals for your space and to clarify any details. Then, we get to the very best part: sit back and relax while we create a beautiful, functional, clean, and calming space!

We'll begin by removing all items from the space, sorting, categorizing, measuring for containers and working with you to determine what to keep, donate or discard. You are welcome to be part of the entire process, or just to make decisions about what to keep - the choice is yours!

  • We'll follow up to ensure all systems are working and your space is easy to maintain

    Step 4

We will schedule a brief complimentary follow-up visit, either virtual or in-person as needed, at the end of the project to make sure the systems we set up are working efficiently for the space.

  • Investing in professional home organization is a strategic decision with far-reaching benefits for both your mental health and your home's value. Research shows that clutter can significantly impact mental well-being; a study published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology found that individuals with cluttered homes experienced higher levels of stress and decreased focus. In contrast, an organized environment contributes to a calmer mindset and improved productivity.

For instance, 77% of people who have organized their home report feeling more relaxed and less anxious, according to a survey by the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO). Furthermore, an organized home not only fosters a peaceful living space but also can enhance property value.

The National Association of Realtors found that well-organized homes can sell for up to 10% more than comparable homes with cluttered spaces. By investing in professional home organization, you not only create a harmonious living environment but also potentially increase your home's market appeal, making it a smart and impactful investment for both immediate comfort and long-term value.
